After threatening to attack an actress with a "khanjar," Mumbai Police detained Mahhi Vij's cook, Jay Bhanushali.

An official has announced that the Mumbai Police have detained the temporary cook who allegedly threatened to stab the actress and her daughter Tara with a "khanjar" while working for celebrity couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij. The cook, identified as Santosh Yadav, was detained on Wednesday night in Nehru Nagar, Juhu. He was the subject of a complaint from Jay and Mahhi.

"The actor tweeted the police and then filed a police report at the Oshiwara police station. On June 29 in the evening, the suspect was arrested for violating sections 509 of the IPC (Word, gesture, or act intended to offend the modesty of a woman), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to induce breach of peace), and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation). He was detained by the police the same day, and on June 30, he appeared before the Andheri Metropolitan Court, according to a police official who was quoted.

On June 29, Mahhi sent the terrifying update to her Twitter account. The Balika Vadhu actress alleged in a slew of now-deleted tweets that the temporary cook had threatened to kill her and abused her family over a pay-related disagreement. Additionally, she claimed that the cook was robbing them.
Mahhi gave a thorough account of the incident. "We were informed that he is stealing just three days ago. I had put off telling Jay. The cook insisted on being paid for the entire month when Jay arrived and tried to settle the bill. When Jay made an effort to convince him, he started threatening. He became inebriated and began cursing at us. We visited the police. Although I don't care what happens to me, I was worried about my daughter, she stated."He kept contacting me after we arrived at the police station. I have each and every recording. It is quite unsettling to see whatever is taking place everywhere. Could he stab me? If something were to happen to me, people would subsequently complain. So what's the point? Concerned for my family's security. I've heard he'll be released on bond. What if he actually acquires men after leaving prison and targets us? Mahhi was added.

Sreejith Ravi, a Malayalam actor, was detained for reportedly flashing young girls in public.

The son of well-known veteran actor TG Ravi, the Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi , was detained for reportedly flashing young schoolgirls. He was detained in accordance with Section 11 of the POCSO Act, which protects children from sexual offences. On Monday, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) forbade hotels and restaurants from automatically or by default including a service charge in the food bill. It stated that in the event of a violation, a customer may request that a hotel or restaurant remove the service charge or may file a complaint to obtain compensation. According to the CCPA's standards, service charges cannot be included in the food bill voluntarily or automatically by hotels or restaurants. No service charge shall be collected under any other name, according to a statement from the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution.
