On Tuesday, July 5, the Noida Police detained Zee News presenter Rohit Ranjan in Ghaziabad after the channel aired reportedly false clips against Congressman Rahul Gandhi.At the Noida Sector-20 police station, a case had been made against Ranjan. The Chhattisgarh Police had sent a team earlier in the day to arrest Ranjan at his home in the Indirapuram neighbourhood of Ghaziabad. Ranjan has been charged with violating several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 153-A (Promoting Enmity on Grounds of Religion or Race), Section 295-A (Malicious Acts Intent to Hurt Religious Beliefs), Section 504 (Intentional Insult), and Section 505 (1)(b) [Intent to Cause Fear or Alarm to Public] as a result of a complaint made by Congress MLA Devendra Yadav.

According to the CCPA's standards, service charges cannot be included in the food bill voluntarily or automatically by hotels or restaurants. No service charge shall be collected under any other name, according to a statement from the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution. An official has announced that the Mumbai Police have detained the temporary cook who allegedly threatened to stab the actress and her daughter Tara with a "khanjar" while working for celebrity couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij. The cook, identified as Santosh Yadav, was detained on Wednesday night in Nehru Nagar, Juhu. He was the subject of a complaint from Jay and Mahhi. A school headmaster in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district has been suspended for allegedly pelting stones at female teachers, following a scuffle. The headmaster, Khurshid Ali, has been accused of secretly making videos of female teachers while Ali has alleged that the teachers were working on their laptops instead of teaching children. The incident took place in Saidpur Primary school in Faridpur and a video clip of the incident has gone viral on the social media. Ali told the media that he was making the video to present it as a proof to senior school officials. According to the women teachers, when they protested against the headmaster secretly making a video, the latter became angry. The headmaster started abusing and fighting with the women teachers and then pelted stones at them. He even tried to snatch away their mobile phones.
